IE5 or IE6 crashes unexpectedly

Symptoms:
When editing pages in edit mode, Internet Explorer 5 (IE5) or Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) crashes unexpectedly. A message may appear asking if you wish to send information to Microsoft.

Cause:

This problem is caused by one of the latest security updates for IE - KB918899 -  MS06-042: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. The problem is specifically caused by the popup property windows in the editor control.

Solution:
A service pack for HelpConsole 2006 has been released to fix this. The latest service pack can be downloaded from here: http://www.extremeease.com/download.htm. This is a full installation. We recommend that you rename the existing "HelpConsole 2006" folder before installing the new version.
